GmanX <Guest>I have never seen this item..either in the auction house, or as a drop. I wanted to craft the master version of the etched yew bow and i went on a tear looking for this item. I massacred a multitude of elite trees in the barrows and in the old forest and never saw it drop. I figured the devs had neglected to add it properly to the loot table or something. I thought the same thing with the shrew claw, but last night i picked up 2..which they may have just fixed in this evendim release, but who knows. I may go hunt the trees again and see if this item will drop now.

freeborn <Guest>I've seen this item on auction, but was unable to win it. Heard the trees in Agamaur drop it, but very rarely. So it's not a bug, just a very rare item, which will obviously make your crafted item a very expensive one ;)

Chargi <Guest>Farmed Agamaur for 2 hours. Each tree drops 12s-18s but got no Scarred Huorn Heartwood :)

Shudshud <Guest>I can definitely say that Gloomleaf in Agamaur does drop this item.. i camp the elites there for a couple of days & only had 1 drop so it's a RARE drop!!! Goodluck
