Objectives
  • Isferon gave you the first of Berenin's riddles. Isferon hopes that you can discover the solution of Berenin's riddle and collect the first of three keys from the location that is described.
  • Isferon is at the refuge of Duillond in Ered Luin. Now that you have solved the first of three riddles given him by his friend Berenin, you should return the key you found to Isferon at Duillond.
  • Isferon gave you the second of Berenin's riddles. Isferon hopes that you can discover the solution of Berenin's riddle and collect the second of three keys from the location that is described.
  • Isferon is at the refuge of Duillond in Ered Luin. Now that you have solved the second of three riddles given him by his friend Berenin, you should return the key you found to Isferon at Duillond.

    • BackgroundIsferon is at the refuge of Duillond in Ered Luin. You have been told that Isferon has a puzzle that he cannot solve. As Isferon is a most learned lore-master, this puzzle must be difficult indeed.
    DescriptionSPOILER:

    Riddle #1 Across the river (use the bridge), and look for a chest down by the bank of the river near the statue.

    Riddle #2 In the Shire in Brockenborings. Look for a statue. The chest next to it.

    Riddle #3 In the Forsaken Inn, next to the left-hand set of stairs (as you're facing them) that go to the raised area in the main room. It's on the right side of the stairs.

    Denlan <Guest>I deleted one of the letters to clear up room in my inventory and it canceled the WHOLE quest. I had to start over from one of the lore master trainers. Just a heads up...
