    I've written these notes for you so you'll know what it takes to make a roast worthy of any great feast, but bear this in mind: ultimately, the preparation of the Roast of Heroes is up to you. It's all about timing and care...cooking is an art, not a science! If you can make a roast that lives up to my expectations, I will recognize you as a master of the kitchen! If you can't, well...my friend Maggot down in the Marish keeps a few dogs, and they'll eat anything. Even a cook who doesn't live up to expectations? I'm only joking!

    SAVORY SEASONINGS
    Properly seasoned, a roast can be a thing of beauty for the discerning taster. Use the wrong seasonings, not enough of them, or too much, and you can ruin the entire meal all at once! I leave to you the choice of specific seasoning, but be sure that the ones you use are savory rather than hot.

    GIANT BOAR-FLANK

    Not just any boar-flank will do, for the roast of heroes must be delicious beyond compare. To that end I say the boar from which the meat comes must be greater and larger than all others! I have heard of just such a one...it is a long way from here, but if you're still of a mind to show off your skill, you'll need to journey east to the wilderness of the Trollshaws. South of the pass into Rivendell, a giant boar makes its home on the grassy slope not far from a home of giants! Can you believe it? Giants! If you're up for it, the flank of that giant boar will be just the thing!

    I'll be waiting to taste your roast of heroes. I'm sure it will be great!

    Adam Bryzak <Guest>The giant boar is level 37, it isn't elite or signature and wanders around the area with the giants and drakes south of rivendell in a large loop, if you hug the north wall of that area eventually you'll be able to attack it on its own with no worries.

    rtz <Guest>The boar is - you keep the left wall of the Giant's Valley ... jump down - and only left! loc above are wrong it is not 31 but 34.8S 6.6W - completely different story ;) Better use stealth to pass by the mobs at the entrance before you jump, or ask someone to kill them for ya lol :)) 6400 morale Drakes 1 ~ 2 ...

    guest <Guest>You can ask a higher level to kill the boar as long you are in a fellowship and probably close by (I helped at least two friends to do it, and they were below 20s)

    Trakker <Guest>The Boar is actually called a Giant Grey Stonehoof if you are with a tracker. I found him along inside wall of Giant valley (hug left wall).
