  • Find someone to help reassemble the scroll from the fragments
    • BackgroundBrigands and robbers can be found in many places around Lake Evendim. Brigands and tomb-robbers in Evendim most likely hold the remaining fragments of the scroll you found.
    DescriptionSPOILER: Faded Fragment drops off Bill Tipper, Tham Varan and Ansley Atwood, Barad Tharsir.

    Old Fragment drops off Andy Idden, Tham Andalath and Jabe Grimshaw, Barad Rath

    Worn Fragment drops off Harry Hinchcliffe, Cirith Rhiw and Ogden Oakes, Barad Tharsir, and have been reported to also drop from normal Tomb-robber mobs.

    Be aware drops can take a while, killed Bill twise, Ansley about 12 times, and Harry must have been about 8.

    Hand the fragments to the ranger Culang at Gaerannon on the Isle of Tinnudir and he will send you to find a stone marker at Barad Rath, where you pick up the 'Battle Chronicles' then back to Culang to complete.

    RossMcCollI got the old and the worn ones from named brigands you get from doing normal quests. Still can't find the worn one though

    GnowigBill Tripper carries the faded scroll-fragment. Might have to kill him a couple times. Bill Tripper is in the ruins of Tham Varan.

    RhydwynI almost finished this quest, but was attacked by Jabe and got the old fragment a second time. Stupidly I removed the item from my inventory, and it wiped the quest. I've killed Jabe 20 times since, and no gotten the fragment. Any ideas?

    RhydwynOh how typical!! Literally the time I killed Jabe after posted my "is there a starter?" question, I get the old scroll-fragment. So yes.. there is at least one starter! good grief :p

    Dreamas <Guest>How to Accomplish This Quest Faded Scroll-Fragment - Drops from Bill Tripper in Tham Varan - Alternate possible drop is Ansley Atwood in Darak Tharsir Old Scroll-Fragment - Drops from Andy Idden in Tham Andalath - Alternate possible drop is Jabe Grimshaw in Barad Rath worn Scroll-Fragment - Drops from Harry Hinchcliffe in Cirith Rhiw - Alternate possible drop is Ogden Oakes in Darak Tharsir ** Drop's are NOT 100%, you might have to kill the target many times I would start with Darak Tharsir and work on Ansley Atwood and Ogden Oakes. Very close proximity for both individuals, reasonably easy area to manage. Then go work on Andy Idden - difficult task to manage so many in such a small area - but doable

    Mathelas <Guest>Strange... The worn- scroll fragment dropped from regular mobs for me. I killed about 6 tomb robbers at once in &#039;Barad Tharsir&#039; and 3 of them dropped the scroll.
