    • Background'There is a great spider that lurks in Himbar. Her eggs are prized by the Iron Crown, as the hatchlings can be trained by the Angmarim to fight for the Enemy.

    'You must kill the spiders and their elder protectors north-east of Himbar, in Torech-i-Bogbereth. When facing the broodlings, beware. They can burrow into the earth and escape your attacks.

    'You must exercise caution while hunting the spiders. Bogbereth stalks those lands, and she may be hunting you as well.'
    DescriptionBogbereth the Spider is in league with the Iron Crown. Her progeny is kept by the Angmarim and used as many-legged foot-soldiers.

    Ray <Guest>I'm curious about this as well. I've even tried to fight my way into the lair to kill the spiders there, none of them are counting for me.

    Matt <Guest>When you venture to the very end of the cave there are alot of little spiders called Broodlings, either kill these or go near the egg sacs amongst the webs on the walls, these will hatch and a Broodling will come out. This is a very slow way, but works.

    Kicklette <Guest>There is an Elite Master spider that spawns in the middle of the Broodlings at the end, so be careful if you're alone.

    Edgar <Guest>Picked this quest up today, it doesn't ask me to kill Iron Crown Tamers. Rather it asks me to kill 10 broodlings and 20 matrons/lurkers/creepers. The spinners summoned by the Tamers also count towards the 20 needed.

    Kim <Guest>One tip on the broodlings, just run into the eggs and they will hatch instantly. I got all ten within fifteen minutes and never needed to go far into the cave. (Tip enter the cave from the other site, there are more eggs near the mouth there)

    Elthar <Guest>I found LOTS of broodlings right where the flag is (13.3n 25,4w), don&#039;t know what cave other posters mentioned but i didn&#039;t go into any caves. just be careful not to aggro egg tenders too early on the way to flag, they aggro everything that is alive there

    Elthar <Guest>Just finished this quest. The entry was outdated, you DON&#039;T have to kill any other spiders than broodlings - you DON&#039;T need to kill Matron (lvl50 21k hp signature). But Matron spider spawned right when i killed the last of broodlings and i had to run for my life.
