NoerennPfff, this quest is very hard. We didnt do more then 1/4 damage on the last boss with a full group. He is a lv 52 Elite Master and you will battle him with max Dread. Good luck to all who will try this :)

Kuggar <Guest>I haven't yet done this quest, I shall tomorrow but 52 Elite Master doesn't have that many hitpoints right? Surely it's easier than book5 chapter8? :) Did you use Brilliant Hope Tokens?

aethelhelmits not impossible but it is hard, esp as for anyone trying it at 46-47 the boss will be red and you do totally minimal damage - did it with a group of 3 hunters 49, 48, 47, minstrel 48, champ 48 and guardian 50. champ and guardian tanked him and everyone else kept up a barrage - very slow descent to 0, esp as the boss drops max dread so your damage is drastically limited

Arathnor <Guest>tokens and burglars for conjs = easy

How we did it... <2008-02-24 20:25:10>
Hexes <Guest>Group: 50 Captain 50 Hunter 50 Hunter 49 Guardian 48 Minstral 46 Hunter Hard part for us was not the boss fight - Bring hope tokens. The hard part is the fight just before it - LOTS of mobs. We assigned the Captain to taking care of the NPC Lorniel, and the other tank took on all other adds (3 high priests, a giant, some other stuff). Two tanks highly recommended - one keeps aggro off of Lorniel, the other takes on all comers. Ensure to prep your healer with the idea of keeping Lorniel alive. Careful pulling when applicable through using the hunters' root skills is recommended when Lorniel drops off for a bit.

    Not too difficult... <2008-08-31 22:14:05>
Barx <Guest>We did it with 2 captains (both lvl 50), 2 hunters (49 and 50), a lvl 50 LM and a lvl 50 GRD. If you remember to bring hope tokens, the main problem is not Mordirith (Lvl 52 Elite Master, 35K HP) but the adds on the way there. At one point we were fighting 6-7 adds (of which four were elite mobs), which caused some confusion. You can get through this one fairly easy you remember to: a) watch out for adds and big pulls. b) bring hope tokens d) keep up with Lorniel and get the aggro of her (She IS trying to get herself killed!) c) use LM for crowd control

    my story... <2009-02-21 23:27:57>
<Guest>did it with a 60 champ, a 55 LM, and i was a 48 guard at the time i think. we did it just the 3 of us, but it was extremely difficult for us. we only died the first time we got to boss, because we forgot tokens... BRING HOPE TOKENS. we all got the eye and died, but LM got tokens, came back and rezed, and we killed him pretty easily

    My story too... <2009-08-19 18:51:48>
Jonny <Guest>Group of 5, we had: 2xL60 Hunters L60 Minstrel L50 Burglar L47 Hunter I personally found it pretty easy, probably because of the 60's, but we actually managed to get Mordirith down pretty quickly without any hope token, with us all cowering :) If you have a big kin, or some high levelled friends, a couple of 60's will make this whole thing a lot quicker!
