  • Bring the Gabilazan plans to Gloin
    • BackgroundGabilazan can be found in one of the two passes east of Gloin's camp. The cornerstone that contains the plans you seek can only be accessed through Gabilazan's Vault. Gloin told you that to learn how to access the secret entrance to Gabilazan's inner keep, you will need to take the plans for the fortress placed in its cornerstone.
    DescriptionTIP: You need to head into the Gabilazan Vault in Gabilizan of the Misty Mountains. This is a mini-dungeon found at S 27.3, W 48.2. You will need to kill an elite Gabilazan Champion, so bring some help.

    TIP: Kill the two in the first room, go into the next room and lay a trap, kill the lieutenant run out of dungeon, go back in, lay another trap, use quick shot on the non-elite and the elite will get stuck in the trap, kill the other one and run around the elite. Get cornerstone and then leg it.

    BerrylEnter the door at 27.3S 0.0E in the northern part of the keep. Inside is a 2-room mini-dungeon with the cornerstone, guarded by 1 elite Gabilazan Champion (level 43, 7813 morale, 1062 power) and 2 normal mobs (2 more normal mobs close to the entrance). Respawns are quick.

    Vasioc <Guest>Just soloed it with my lv 43 minstrel. the key is to first kill the 2 mobs near the stairs. You can then kill one add near the champion run out come back in kill the second add near the CHampion and run out agian. Finally come in and pull the Champion to the door that way teh resspawns are to far to get you. After you dispose of him quicly kil any of the respawned mobs get what you need and out. :)

    Simple tactics to solo for a LM <2009-05-20 21:46:52>
    Fereleth <Guest>Kill the first two mobs in hall at the top of the steps. Park your pet and ease down the steps until you aggro the champ and his pals. Backpedal up the steps with the mobs in tow and root near the front door. Then run back down the steps, claim your prize, and get out of there! :)

    Hatsuru <Guest>If you are a champion then this should be very easy :) You have to do the kill-and-go strategy again.Kill the 2 guards outside,then get it andkill the 2 guards at the entrance.Then go in and kill the first guard,go outside and come in again,kill the other guard and go outside (if the guards spawn outside and u are low on health then go inside,the elite shouldnt be in the entrance),after that go and use Sound the attack on him,until the stun goes away,u should be outside with the plans.
