AnuinePlease be careful so you don't do what I just did. I did complete the quest after an hour or so...or that was what I thought. After finding the quest goals in the the caves you will get a text message saying that you discovered yada yada yada, but that doesn't actually complete the quest goal. You obviously need to use that beryl at the spot... And yeah, I didn't... So now I have to go back.... GHAAA!

Jaxey <Guest>You can do this stealthed as a burglar. When you hold the beryl, stealth does not break as of 8/3/2007.

Solo-ing <2009-11-09 21:46:16>
Sam <Guest>I found it really hard to get a FS for it, so I stealthed half way through, then ran for dear life til I reached the middle and died. I revived, used Wisdom of the Council, Stunned the Trolls in the center and used the stone. It takes ages to do it this way because you've got to wait 2 hours between revives, but found it easier than waiting for a FS (I usually go on in the middle of the night, when hardly anyone is around, when I'm supposed to be working on lab reports :P) Tried doing it solo without stealth/reviving and stunning and got my bum handed to me :/ (oddly managed Books 6 and 7 before this and found this harder than any other chapter so far :/ ) Good luck with it everyone, hope you guys find it easier than I did Oh and thanks for the cave locations, so helpful, cheers :)
