    • Background'The most vicious of the Surmâja, which some call the behemoth, waits for us among the rocks to the south-west. The beast has been made stronger by the Rauta-väki and has grown far too powerful for our hunters to defeat alone.

    'Perhaps you can help us drive away or slay the beast. We will rub the Surmâja-fat you brought us on a token of the Lossoth and set it alight. Place this token in the ground when the behemoth attacks. Hopefully the beast will become frightened, and you may attack it in its confusion.

    'The behemoth is a terrible foe, and you should use caution when approaching it.'

    Tolacar <Guest>It was a close call. But as a lvl50 guardian I managed to solo it. Took the two adds first then deployed Warg Fat to unnerve the Elite. Used one Athelas extract to get through.

    ustaring <Guest>lvl48 guardian soloed it, but had to use deep breath as well as a health pot...actually forgot to use the warg fat totem that should have made the fight easier

    <Guest>Difficult fight for a less than L50 Hunter (no heart seeker and without man heal). Managed it by using trap (sturdy traps slotted) and Rain of Thorns to allow athelas cooldown to recharge. Must use the totem. Kiting is hard because of the wounds so you are best off going for DPS.

    Calogrenant <Guest>Each time I used the stupid totem, it burnt me instead, no effect on the mob, just like when a goblin throws a burning pot on you. Maybe it's a ranged thing? Well, would work if it wasn't that even when I'm within range, it still says it needs the "presence of the red fang behemoth" to be activated. Very tough fight for a 49 hunter.
