    • BackgroundStep 1: As the goblins descended on the Eglain in Minas Eriol, the tribe left something very important behind, hidden in the deepest ruins. 'The crate containing the Eglain's greatest find is located in the ruins of Minas Eriol, at a place called Ost Laden. The Eglain waiting to receive the crate is outside the ruins, to the east of Ost Laden. Hunulf directed you to seek out the greatest discovery made by the Eglain, a statue dredged from the swamps of the Lone-lands. It lay packed away in a crate in Ost Laden, now overrun by goblins. Step 2: Hunulf Munce is at the Forsaken Inn, northwest of Minas Eriol. You delivered the statue safely into the hands of the Eglain. You should return to the Forsaken Inn and tell Hunulf Munce of your success.
    DescriptionTIP: The statue is at 34.6S, 37.6W

    TIP: The turn-in guy is just outside the building you get the crate, and across the bridge to the East. The location is 34.4S, 36.9W.

    Xaeliix <Guest>The turn-in guy is just outside the building you get the crate, and across the bridge to the East. The location is 34.4S, 36.9W. Don't do what we did and go all the way outside the ruins and try to run around to him. You have to either go the rest of the way through that building, or like the last post said, sneak around the building.

    Corin <Guest>This quest is a pain in the azz. Died 3 times and stil not able to get the Statue. If u pull one goblin they came in groups of 5-6, is just impossible. My group was 21-23 with a Guardian and a Minstrel, nothing, we wiped over and over and no chance to not overpull, even if they're far away eachother, they continue coming in groups of 5-6. I am trying again in like...10 levels <_<

    Easbone <Guest>This is a level 35 quest.... The crate is in Ost laden. The hallway..Last opening to the right before the open area... Around the corner you find the crate.... Carry it out in the open area and run right out of the fortress....There a guardsman meets you.....

    [SMS]Gortok <Guest>This quest is easy. Don't listen to those that say it's hard. Go in the hallway, the last door on right before the courtyard is where the statue is. Have someone pick up statue. Now, go back the way you came, but take the first right. Go to the end of the wall to your left, and jump over the crack. Now carry the statue outside of the walls, around the goblins (none will aggro), and follow the fortress walls around until you see a bridge. Cross the bridge, and quest is done. No fuss, no muss.

    Kia <Guest>As an alternative to the broken wall (no longer a viable option) you can opt to suicide run to the turn in NPC if you have a rezzer. From the room with the crate, go back out and turn right into the hall. Continue down the hall and make a right just before the platform at the end and go up the tall stairs. At the top of the stairs go straight across the round platform to the open archway on the left (you'll see a stone bridge). The NPC is on the other side of the bridge through the archway.

    ilclimbora <Guest>I was with a group last night we ran without minstrel and were able to get the statue, but not get out the way you need to go. We couldn't manage to not have to fight at least 6 goblins simultaneously. Our lowest lvl dude carrying the statue eventually got through while the rest of us died, but he is the only one to get credit. My repair bills from multiple attempts set me back about 200sp. I took my lvl 45 hunter in there and scouted all around and tried over and over to jump the broken wall and find some other way around (that doesn't involve falling into the spider pit) to no avail. My conclusion was that they must have changed the wall so it is too high to jump. The first time I ever did this quest months ago I followed someone over a wall and around the mountain and it worked great, but couldn't get it last night.

    gbayesDid this quest today -- no jumping over walls. After you get the statue... go into the main area of the building where all the goblins are by the stone circle.... you have to carry the circle up the steps to the right -- to the higher stone circle area.... the door to the turn in Eglain is behind this area. Lots of fighting. Have fun

    Kandykiss <Guest>As far as I know the wall trick is out of the game, If you dont have a higher level helping you you best a well balanced group with some crows control. You dont have to get very far, and as long as the rest of the group dies close by only the statue carrier needs to make it all the way. this is a tougie at the quest level in a good group but it is duoable. Its also skippable if you dont wanna do it, dont do it.

    Strathir <Guest>After several deaths, we decided to RUN for it. Down the main hall, up onto the dais, across the dais and out the back; turn right; head up the high stone stairs where the fire is (disregarding many enemies up the top); turn sharp left; head for the back exit through which you can see a bridge outside. The contact is there. Keep running and the bad guys fall off. Hurrah!

    <Guest>the best solution is to run for it leaving the statue carier in the back of the group so he wont be tagged by any goblins :D ... did the quest with lvls between 17-20 without a minstrel ... the first 4 died ... but the last 2 (including the carrier) got to the destination ... leave the weakest as the carrier

    Who??? <Guest>My level 25 hunter finished this one today. I had the help of a Level 60 Lore Master. I died a couple of times but finally got it finished.
