| Background | 'Now that we have dealt with some of the more mundane matters of the expedition, I've got something a little more dangerous in mind. Goblin-hunting! Not that there is much difficulty in finding them, mind you -- as you have surely noticed, nearly every room and corridor of Khazad-dûm is crawling with them. 'Anyway, we have all got to do our part to drive them out, and that includes you! I deem you should be able to handle...thirty? Does that sound about right? Oh, I am sure you think you can handle more, but thirty will do for now. 'If we can cull their numbers enough, we might finally be able to clear the road through to Jazârgund. That would be a fine achievement indeed and would greatly strengthen our hold on Durin's Way!' |
| Description | The dwarves at the Chamber of the Crossroads are constantly on guard against the goblins, who vastly outnumber them. Everyone is expected to pull their own weight and then some in the frequent forays and battles -- particularly in the effort to clear the road between the Chamber of the Crossroads and Jazârgund, which remains nearly impassable. |
