  • Find the dread turtle nest on the western shore of the lake
  • Carry the turtle egg to the campfire in the eastern Orc-camp
  • Return to the Captain of the Guard at Gabilshathur
    • BackgroundThe dread turtle nesting grounds are on the western shore of the lake. The Orc-camp lies to the east of the nesting grounds, northeast of Gabilshathur. The Captain of the Guard at Gabilshathur asked you to help throw the Orcs into confusion by capturing a dread turtle egg and taking it to the Orc-camp. He suggested you take friends.
    DescriptionTIP: The nest is at S 0.3, W 28.4.

    TIP: The campfire that you must toss the egg into is the last camp that you would expect. It is not Ongbishuk or Mor Maudhul, which are the two most commonly suspecting. Instead it has a small entrance and is northeast of Ongbishuk. There are trolls near the entrance.

    FarginI found it, you need to be in Girshbatl, the orc camp north of Onggibursh. there are a lot of trolls inside.

    Full of Ish <Guest>You gotta be out of your mind if im going to beleive you got the egg to the fire solo. Not only does the egg drop if u even get hit, but you're going through elites in there crowded around. Took me 4 tries just to get ot the camp without being hit by random mobs, no way you're going to make it through there alone.

    Zepherion <Guest>can be done solo, several of my kin done so. Me as a 47 minstrel needed help from a tank running in front of me getting the attention of the mobs. And you can get hit as much as you want the egg doesn't drop

    Barthomas <Guest>I did it with my 47 burg solo. Figured out where to go, picked up the egg, dodged baddies as much as i could on the way there--the egg does NOT drop if you get hit, and finally made my way to the fire area past the trolls. Before I got to the densest collection of elite mobs I hit Touch and Go, which increases evade to 70% temporarily. Once the egg dissapeared and I completed the quest, I hit hips (hide in plain sight) and the mobs left me alone. Viola! Mission accomplished without death (although it was VERY close). Good luck

    yunkor <Guest>You don't drop it if you get hit, but you need health. I (49 dwarf guardian) ran in and dropped it then ran out, using every skill I had to keep health up. Fluke that I lived. I should have just died and took screenshots though that turtle is hilarious. (also he said he hit touch and go after dropping it)

    Aeradill <Guest>its actually very easy on lvl 47 + solo.. pick up the egg.. follow the coordinates as given on the map .. and then just run.. take the aggro.. just go strait for the camp fire.. i'tt drop.

    KronzeI solo'd this with my 46 champ and had no problems at all. All i did was run in past the 2 thrashers at the entrance,ran straight to and through the fire then used a pot hit dire need and sprint easy.

    <Guest>Really easy as a hunter, grabbed the egg, ran to the bonfire and hit Desperate Flight as soon as I saw the egg leave my hands.
