    • BackgroundThe goblins have established a camp on the southern hills of Annundir, east of Amon Raith.
    Amarion has asked you to scout the goblin camp and assess the threat it poses to those under his care. He has warned you to take care. If a goblin sees you, it might track you back to Amon Raith.
    DescriptionSPOILER #1: You must sneak up to the goblin camp to the southeast without being spotted by any goblins (11.4S, 51.2W). Use the rocks to your advantage and tab to target through the tents to see the goblins. When you get to the camps edge it will update. Then simply return to Amarion without being attacked by goblins to complete the quest.

    SPOILER #2: Just walk up near as possible to the left entrance of the goblin camp, without being near any goblin at all. You get the update that you can talk to Amarion again. No difficult tactics or strategies, just walk up the path from Amon Raith and then you will see a large square with 4 poles and then you see the Goblin camp, run to the left entrance and voilá!

    unironedjust swim up the river, get out on the northern bank just before the goblin camp on the water's edge. walk up the hill (nothing but wolves and birds to dodge). stay outside and below the granite walls of the camp and tab-select the goblin leader. job done. run back down the hill, swim home!

    lufia22 <Guest>Note that once you scout out the camp, you still CANNOT get caught by goblins! I scouted the camp out and, figuring I was safe from goblins now, ran up the hill towards the road past two goblins because it was shorter, and failed the quest and had to do it again.

    cach22First time I tried I did not pay enough attention to the quest details. I was going to hack and slash my way through. Easier to do but not what the quest calls for. So I went a got it again. Well, I have done everything according to the comments here and still no update. I have been through the entire camp and tabbed every goblin in it and NOT received an update. Seems kind of ridiculous to me.

    Durick <Guest>There are multiple camps in the area. You do NOT want the camp at the water's edge, you need to go to the camp just up the hill. I got credit along the southern edge of the camp.

    oBAD <Guest>You don't need to tab anyone, just creep up to the side of the camp until it tells you that you have scouted. Then carefully avoid goblins on way back - it may take a few attempts, but then it is a Quest not a gift! ;-)

    Geinskaldir <Guest>Follow the path from amon raith till u are north of the objective point on map. head south and you will see to camp entrances with rocks surrounding them and splitting them. head to the one on the left. watch out not to be seen..then simply walk to the right of the entrance at the co-ord of....11.6S 49.8W simple guys

    hirosangels <Guest>Rock cleft worked for me. For some reason any other direction I spied on the camp didn&#039;t work, there was a stealth goblin that sees you and nothing aggros either. Take the road east to 12.0S 50.5W, turn south and make your way down to the river. you should see at the most, 3 goblins, all easy to avoid since you have the high ground. In the river swim (or run on waters edge depending on the location of the goblins) At 12.4S 49.7W you&#039;ll see a rock, get out of the water, heard north along the rock. Hug the rock as you go along. There will be a goblin, usually off to the left and west of you. For some reason this guy has super vision, so wait until he turns around and sneak past him. The rock will curve east, if you look north there is a rock ridge with a top of a tent. Be careful, sometimes a goblin will spawn around the corner, out of 7 times I&#039;ve only seen it once. You have to until he walks off to the side. Go east in between the rock cleft and head east. Around 12.3 49.5 you&#039;ll see a red painted tree turn and head north . . . and creep up slowly. 12.2S 49,5W it should tick in. YOu&#039;ll see a few goblin tents and two guards at the rear. Message will say something about assessing the camp. Head back out the same way, not beeing seen at all. If you have patience you can swim west out until you reach the river bend and head out back to the guys camp. notes: around the south entrance near 12.2S 49,5W , if you aggro the wolves, sometimes the goblins will come along with them and its game over.

    Path to Rock Cleft <2009-06-11 21:37:26>
    Ridka <Guest>I jumped off the bridge at the water &amp; swim towards the camp. There&#039;s an island right there &amp; went to the shore. Swam across from the island &amp; looked on the map to track the coordinates given above for the cleft. Waited until some elite walked up the hill &amp; bolted for the cleft. Very easy.
