You want to make a White Tree Trinket? Pay attention. It's easy. Yes, it is. If you're a great jeweller, it's easy. Aye? Aye. I am back. Had to get another drink. So, you want to make a White Tree Trinket? Think you're a great jeweller, do you? You're not as good as I am, or you wouldn't need these notes, would you? Where was I? Yes. The ingredients.
SILVER INGOTS
You'll need to know a prospector! A novice one, at least. This prospector can take any silver you give him and do that thing they do to make it into ingots. Smelt it. He'll smelt the silver into ingots. You'll need two. Silver's pretty rare. Look for it in the Lone-lands, east? Aye, east of the big hill.
POLISHED OPAL
Opals are very pretty gems. I've seen a lot of them because I'm a great jeweller. Okay, I'm back with another mug of ale. That's just the stuff. Opals. You'll need one. They're pretty rare, but you can find them along with silver sometimes, if you're a prospector. If you aren't one of those, then meet one. Give him money. He'll find an opal for you. Then the thing you do is polish the opal. Any jeweller worth anything can do this. If you can't polish an opal to a sheen, you should just give up. I don't even want a White Tree Trinket from you.
DELICATE WHITE TREE MOULD
Had one of these, I did. Got stolen by dwarves. Not just any dwarves! No, no, no. Dwarves I thought were my friends! Worst sort, that. Hiding down in Mithrenost now, I expect...the old keep in the central Lone-lands. Snug up against the southern hills, it is. Find Bárthr Dourhand -- he's the thief and deserves to have his beard cut short -- and get back my Delicate Tree Mould. You'll probably find him northeast of Mithrenost proper; he doesn't trust his allies, and is surely looking for easy pickings outside the ruins. That's the mould you want. Only one that will do!
How long have I been writing this? Too long, I think! Go make me a White Tree Trinket, and I'll have some more ale. That way everybody is happy.
