    Easy <2007-07-06 20:25:18>
    Anuin <Guest>Very easy to do with only a few. I joined a lvl44 as 33 minstrel and didn't have to heal him once. There are no other mobs to kill than these two salamanders.

    Soloable. <2007-07-22 07:05:30>
    Eena <Guest>When the patrolling salamander is at the very back, the sleeping one can be pulled alone.

    Easy <2007-07-30 00:32:02>
    Dodger <Guest>I did it alone with a level 36 guardian pulling first the sleeping one.

    <2007-08-01 01:31:20>
    Moridin <Guest>Just solo'd this as a 36 Minstrel. Pulled the sleeping salamander when the patrolling one was furthest away, easy as pie.

    <2007-08-12 00:54:31>
    <Guest>Soloed as a 36 Burg. Like everyone else, pull the sleeper when the other is at the back.

    warning <2007-08-12 00:54:31>
    gilos <Guest>key is one use, and removed from pack. If you run out you'll have to find someone with the key. ugh

    Question <2007-08-17 14:29:21>
    Elvara <Guest>Won't you get the key again after cancelling and requesting the quest from Rumming?

    <2007-10-05 23:47:43>
    <Guest>Yeah right you all done it at the levels you said....

    <2007-10-05 23:47:43>
    <Guest>Key is *not* one use only. He does take it back when you turn in the quest though.

    <2007-10-11 22:18:57>
    Valanduil <Guest>Dear Members, Theres no way you can do this quest on your own. I tried as a lvl39 Elf Hunter. I lured the female salamander out and then it kicked my ass because straight after the male came out and finished me off. You need atleast a group of two.

    Actually... yes. <2007-11-10 23:19:21>
    Natallia <Guest>We did it as a duo (Min/Grd) at lvl 36, with no problem - pulling one at a time. Had we gotten both, would have been pretty difficult. But easily done if you're cautious and smart about it.

    <2007-11-27 22:21:33>
    Andon <Guest>i would not agree that it cannot be solo'd, as Val has said, i solo'd it as a 37 LM, i kept one mezzed while killing the other, i did have to use a potion

    <2007-12-02 21:49:02>
    Lasared <Guest>Agree, couldn't solo with hunter lvl41

    <2007-12-05 21:38:09>
    randomguest <Guest>The patrol path on the one may have been changed. I've tried the split pull at least a dozen times and they both come right on up the stairs. Considering they're non-elites I could see a minstrel soloing this if it was one at a time

    Can Solo <2007-12-08 21:39:19>
    <Guest>It can be done solo...just did it with 37 GDN.Waited till patrolling one was furthest and dragged the sleeping one up the stairs and through the archway. Beat it, waited until my skills respawned and repeat with the other one.

    <2007-12-16 23:08:16>
    Keles <Guest>Just solo'd it as lvl 36 burglar, distract the patrol at the back then pull the sleeper and run up the stairs. Sire seems to make a run for it but didn't follow the dam up the stairs... take wound pots to cure fire debuffs.

    Solo-able <2008-01-04 02:32:52>
    <Guest>Just did this solo as a 37 minstrel. I was unable to seperate the salamanders but manged to stun one out of the celler and the sire ran back once i was out of agro range. then killed the dame. I'd expect a hunter could set a trap at the cellar door and do the same thing.

    Solo Can do <2008-01-11 21:58:45>
    Suffren <Guest>just completed solo with a lvl 37 Guardian, you can split the 2 up but I had to run all the way back to the celler door before the second one gave up the chase.

    <2008-01-26 00:26:29>
    Jimmy <Guest>Just did it at level 39 as a champion with a loremaster. I tanked both and managed to kill the first and get the second one down to about 500 morale before I died and the LM took over, then he revived me : )

    You can Solo this.. <2008-01-26 00:26:29>
    Grimgo <Guest>I tried to "lure the sleeping one while the other was furthest away" that didn't work. They both get lured, and they nearly nailed me. I did manage to run to the top of the stairs by the door, jump on the ledge where they both get "confused" one will disappear and then you can fight one at a time. Try this and let me know if it worked for you! :) Plus the key is not one use only like some say.

    <2008-01-27 10:42:01>
    Inthewind <Guest>I soloed it as 39 guardian, i was a little lucky. I engaged the dam and when i did that the other one entered in the "bug status" (you know, with "???" over his head". I killed the dam, and after like 2 mins (health recovered) i killed the other one.

    <2008-02-11 23:46:30>
    Anadorin <Guest>Jumping on a ledge worked like charm. As a 38 mins i pulled the sleeping salamander and ran up the stairs or the door. When i could see the dame, i jumped on the ledge next to the door and the mob bugged out (??? above its head). From that point on, killed the dame, recovered morale/power and pulled the Sire.

    <2008-02-15 21:17:48>
    minstrel, 38 <Guest>A loremaster, tank and minstrel can solo it easy, burglar with good timing... hunter and champs, prob not

    <2008-02-16 23:55:15>
    hunterR <Guest>tried as lvl 37 hunter, impossible to solo.

    <2008-02-16 23:55:15>
    Drost <Guest>I love the people here who are basically calling the players who DID solo this quest liars.. 35 burg here. Soloed. I could not manage a single pull so I just did as best I could keeping the second one CCed (Riddle/Stuns). Was not easy by any means (I blew all CDs except Find Footing and used 2 healing potions throughout the entire fight) but very doable for a Burglar 35+. Seems they have a decent respawn timer so take your time.. being able to use a few CDs multiple times wins the fight imo.

    <2008-02-19 21:48:55>
    xxcclowlglvl 38 captain soloed this quest

    Soloable <2008-02-19 21:48:55>
    Alphose <Guest>Soloed as lvl 36 lore master

    Soloed <2008-02-22 21:09:45>
    Wylldar <Guest>36 Min. Just soloed it. Used the ledge.

    Soloed <2008-02-23 19:46:14>
    BetterOff <Guest>Just soloed with 44 Champ with both actively attacking. They still put up a good fight.

    Soloed <2008-03-07 21:14:57>
    DeQ <Guest>Soloed with 35 Guardian.. Managed to pull the sleeping one after maybe 4-5 attemps .. not easy even if you get them one by one but doable

    Easy <2008-03-18 21:26:35>
    Varinor <Guest>Solo'd as a level 39 hunter. Lay a trap at the top of the stairs, pull either one. One will get trapped, kill the other. Low cut the other, and then run out. When it resets, run back in and kill it.

    DIFFICULT but can be solo'd <2008-03-21 00:33:30>
    Trius <Guest>I'm a 37 hunter and I was able to solo.. it took me a few tries, but I was finally able to pull the sleeping one without getting the attention of the other. I think the patrolling one has to have it's back turned in order to keep it from chasing. I didn't even need to waste a potion.

    <2008-03-21 22:15:07>
    LergnomWhat's the reward for completing this series?

    burglar <2008-03-23 22:46:57>
    prorook <Guest>Riddle works on these mobs for some reason. Pop mischief and you can keep one permanently CCed if you don't want to cheese it by bugging mobs out.

    <2008-05-26 10:28:41>
    Thrandion <Guest>I love all these terribles that get uppity when they can't solo a quest that is easily soloed. Suck less and it's soloable.

    <2008-05-26 14:08:57>
    GRD <Guest>Soloed as Lvl 35GRD. Just let Deep Breath recharge for 2x pledge and wars heart. Sire is very hard to pull alone but doable. Jump on the wall near the exit.

    <2008-06-09 15:11:21>
    Krog <Guest>Another trick I used I got a double pull ran back up locked the basement door only the dame came out while the sire stayed inside letting me finish the quest solo with a grd.

    <2008-06-22 21:59:51>
    Balrac <Guest>Soloed it on my lvl 36 hunter by "cheating". Next to the stairs on the left side is a ledge you can walk on by following the line on the wall. When you stand up there the salamanders can't hit you. Just be sure to jump down when there morale is less then 25% or they will reset. Just pull one at the time. Easy peasy.

    <2008-06-29 20:11:54>
    <Guest>/me agree with Thrandion. I wonder how many people are whining here. This quest is easily soloable. I did it as lvl 37 champ, but it could be done at lower levels. The key is just to pull one at the time (and it is easy, they are very slow), like it was said tons of times here before. I just wonder if all whose whinner saying that this is impossible to solo are read those comments at least, if they can't figure such simple thing themselves.

    <2008-07-16 14:14:01>
    Sasuke <Guest>Just done it witha 37 guard no probs, didn't have ti use strength of moral even
