Ellanthir <Guest>Each of the four boss monsters in Helegrod has a 100%-chance of dropping at least one epic armor set item when slain. (Note: This is not necessarily a guardian set item; it can also be an epic set item for one of the six other classes.). Note also: If a boss drops a high-protector item, you still compete with the other guardians in your team normally a helegrod raid consists of at least 3 guardians), so even if a boss drops a high-protector-item, it's by no means sure that you get it. The set items also sometimes drop from highlevel (i.e. lvl 47+) humanoid monsters. This is extremely rare though.

Sinemacla <Guest>TBH this armour stinks compared to Rift Armour, total stats for rift armour are :Armour 1329 (1300 not 1456 for high protectors) With small boosts across the board. Overall i cant see much benefit from getting into these guys, even the MOORS Armour (equal to Rift) is better than this armour. But moors armour doesnt have the bonuses that the Rift armour has. Rift Armour FTW no contest, and until u can get a bettwer shield (extreme rare drops) Hardened Elven Kinghts shield is the way to go
